Congratulations to Sara and Timothy Roltgen!

Recent attendees of a thinkmarriage.org weekend retreat, Tim and Sara were married in 1997. They met when they were both performing in a production of EVITA. Now proud parents of a son and twin daughters, Sarah and Timothy have weathered some bumps in the road in their marriage, but remain committed to their relationship. Through the ups and downs they have come to a greater level of telling the truth to each other as a foundation of their marriage. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary with a party that could only be described as “a blast!” Sarah and Timothy have a desire to share with other couples how they have been transformed by grace, and the good things that come from sticking together.  Congratulations and welcome to the Marriage Hall of Fame Sara and Timothy!

Congratulations to Pastor Wayne and Angela Robbins!

 35 years ago on September 1, 1973, Wayne and Angela were united in marriage. It was a gala affair with eight bridesmaids, eight best men and over 300 guests at the joyous affair! Wayne and Angela were blessed with two children, Aaron and Tina. Aaron is married to Rochelle and has two children, and Tina is married to Lafonso and they have three children. Angela says that Wayne keeps her laughing and believes that his humor has helped keep them together. After 35 years, they still love each other and desire that their marriage can be a blessing to others. (Note: Angela Robbins is the  County Director in Milwaukee, WI)

Congratulations to Aron and Tiffany Rodman!

Aron and Tiffany have three little boys and love the outdoors (camping, hiking, snowshoeing, fishing). Tiffany wrote: “ I don’t feel we have any special secret for successful marriage, we just really believe that our relationship with God keeps us strong as a family. “ They want to encourage other young couples that getting married “young” is not a death sentence for your marriage! They married at age 19, and 9 years later describe themselves as happily married and very much in love. Acknowledging that it hasn’t always been easy, Aron and Tiffany are encouraged by how much more they love each other every day and they know they can trust each other to always be there.

Congratulations to Lowell and Wanda Nye!                 

Lowell and Wanda have been married for over 11 years and they celebrate their marriage every month! Lowell calls Wanda every 10th of the month at the time he married her and asks her to marry him all over again, and he’s pretty happy that she never says “no!” Lowell specializes in really listening instead of reacting, a skill he believes is very important to a healthy marriage Lowell, Wanda,

Congratulations to John and Jan Gillespie!

John and Jan recently held a wonderful 50^th Wedding Anniversary Celebration at the Rawhide Ranch which they founded. From June 15^th 1957 to June 15^th 2007 marked a joyous 50 years. John also serves on the board of Foundation for a Great Marriage. Thanks for setting a great example of a committed marriage and “passing it on” by being thinkmarriage Marriage Champions!

 Congratulations to Bob and Joan Waldusky!

Bob and Joan Waldusky really meant the “for better or worse” part that is traditionally in marriage vows, and they’ve proved it in their lives. Joan deals with some serious medical issues. In Bob’s words: “Life’s not always fair… get over it. Our goal is to enjoy our lives together regardless of the outcome. Love and caring for each other is becoming second nature to us. Our epitaphs will read: Don’t bury me well preserved and properly displayed, but rather ragged, torn, used up and wore out with these words WOW what a ride!”
